Connection Method: Hot Melt Butt Fusion Installation
1. According to the specifications of the pipe or fitting, select the fixture, extend the connecting end out of the fixture, the free length should not be less than 10% of the nominal diameter, move the fixture to make the connecting end face contact, and correct the corresponding connecting piece to make it on the same axis, the offset should not be greater than 10% of the wall thickness.
2. The connecting parts of the pipe or fitting should be wiped clean, and the connecting end face should be milled to make it perpendicular to the axis: the average thickness of continuous chips should not be greater than 0.2 mm, and the molten surface after cutting should not be contaminated.
3. The end face of the connecting piece should be heated using hot melt butt fusion equipment, and the heating time should meet the relevant standard regulations.
4. After the heating time reaches the process requirements, the heating plate should be quickly removed, and the uniformity of the melting of the connecting surface should be checked. There should be no damage: and the connecting surface should be quickly brought into full contact with uniform external force until a uniform and symmetrical burr is formed.
5. During the pressure-holding cooling period, the connecting piece should not be moved or any external force should be applied to the connecting piece.
